A simple Android App for creating Pro/Contra Lists. It's a small project I've started this year which is available for free in the Google Play Store. This project involved the conception of the application, the design of the user interface and graphics for Google Play, implementation, and maintainance.
Diplohack was a hackathlon organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Goal was to develop ideas around eGovernment. My team worked on a platform to make Open Data easier available for everyone.
Startup Weekend is a hackatholon where you pitch an idea, form teams and work on your startup for 54 hours. Theme of this Startup Weekend was Social Innovation. Our goal was to use Bluetooth beacons to find new ways of communication.
The idea behind JoinMyCoffee is to find nearby strangers (or new friends) to share a coffee with. Mark yourself as interested in a coffee and get notified once someone with the same thing in mind is near you. The App helps you to meet up and you can have a coffee together. Currently on hold.
Catrobat is the organization behind the Pocket Code App. This App implements a visual programming language designed for children to create games, animations and more. I worked at this organization as Android Developer and Team Coordinator of the Pocket Paint drawing app, was part of the UX Team and participated in the Google Summer of Code.
The Gecco Guide App allows climbers to create, manage and share different routes on their mobile device. My responsibilities in this project involved the full-stack development, including UX design of the Android application.
Spoyu is a social sport network. In this project I worked as an Android Developer. The tasks did not only involve the realization of standard Android interface, but also the development of custom UI elements.
In 2011 I started the Bachelor's Degree Program Software Development and Business
Management, which I finished in 2015. I directly continued with the
Master's Degree Program Software Engineering and Management.
At Graz University of Technology I learned different skills in the areas of Information Technology, Software Development, Project Management, and Business Administration.
I was invited to the UWA to conduct research for my master's thesis in the area of
Conversational Agents in eHealth. Beside the technical experience gained, I was also
consolidate my English skills.
Living in the city of Perth allowed me to experience the Australian lifestyle and the diverse culture of Western Australia.
During my Master's Program I had the great opportunity to participate in the ERASMUS program at the University of Stockholm, Sweden. This was the first time I lived abroad for several months which was one of the most important experiences of my life. Getting to know a different culture, learning a new language, and meeting people from around the globe left a considerable impression on me.
This secondary school provided me with broad foundational knowledge in the area of computer science. Here I had my first contacts with Programming Languages, Computer Networks, Project Management, and other business related topics.
